A Colorful Multicultural Boho Elopement In Prospect Park By Impressenshi

I love seeing culture reflected in the lives of people..be it the what they wear, how they speak or how they tie in their cultures into their wedding days. Here, my couple is one half Dominican and the other half Chinese. They had an intimate elopement that was full of bright color and food! While their modern day wedding suit and dress reflected their individual tastes, the colors of their wedding details and the food served at their wedding picnic incorporated their heritage into their elopement.

They chose Prospect Park in the Spring as their elopement backdrop and added on a wedding arch made from multicolored carnations, a bridal bouquet bursting with spring colors and a cozy bright picnic setup complete with Prosecco and a wedding cake. While their wedding was small, it did not lack anything to mark the day as a special occasion. Their elopement was about them and their love and you could feel it in everything about the day. Here was a day that brought two people and two cultures together. As they also had their toddler son with them, the evidence of their love and a new generation of multicultural people was represented. As I am multicultural as well, this resonated with my soul.
