I LOVE outdoor weddings that incorporates the beauty of nature and the season. Bobby and Chauntel’s outdoor intimate micro wedding in Van Vorst Park in Jersey City was beautiful in October. As it was still on the warmer side of October, Van Vorst Park delivered a glorious green aisle for the bride to walk down. It was truly one of the most gorgeous aisles I have ever seen. The bride and groom coordinated their wedding to the Fall season with green dresses paired with Autumn wildflower bouquets and boutionaire. It was a intimate ceremony of under thirty guests Which perfectly fit in the cute gazebo in the park and then the party moved to the reception at the outdoor space at restaurant Porta, Jersey City. Van Vorst park is conveniently located near public transportation and nearby restaurants making it the perfect place for micro weddings. Porta’s outdoor patio located upstairs was just the place to have informal dinner with their guests, Picnic tables, delicious family style dinner and great service by the staff made for a memorable reception. While Covid-19 had impacted their original wedding plans, their scaled down wedding was no less beautiful and filled with love and joy.
