Brooklyn Bridge Park NYC: A Mother Daughter Session

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers out there! Thank you for all you do for us. The sacrifices you have made for us and the superwoman that you are. This mother-daughter session is a few years old. I loved every second spent with this duo. It was amazing to see how much love there is between Melissa and Sofia. There truly is nothing like a mother’s love. We started the morning in Brooklyn Bridge Park where mother and daughter played on the swings (proving that you never have to give up the inner child in you- no matter the age or the fact that you have become a mom), and lounging around on the grass. We moved on to Brooklyn Bridge Pier 3 for a few more photos and then on a whim, we hopped into a cab and stopped by Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It was a lovely Spring day in Brooklyn and we decided to make the most of it. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden was packed but we managed to find a few quite corners to play Patty Cakes and lie in the sun. All in all, it was a memorable day for both mother and daughter. It has been a few years now since this session and both Melissa and Sophia still fondly remember their time spent together making memories that are forever imprinted in these photos.
